Accounting and Tax Helpdesk
The support offered to our franchisees is extensive. All technical support is outsourced to a third party, providing information about accounting, bookkeeping, tax, HST, payroll and software issues, among other things. This support will be available from early days of operation and will continue to benefit your business as you take on staff who will also be able to access these resources.
We have built up relationships with a panel of IT suppliers in order to supply you with all the correct IT equipment and support you will ever need. From the initial 'stage 1' hardware and software package we include as part of the franchise fee to multi-user network installations or remote hosted solutions at reasonable prices.
Tax and Accounts Software Package
We operate a fully integrated software suite in our network, which includes practice management, accounts, bookkeeping and tax compliance as well as planning software. Full training, support, installation and updates are provided on an ongoing basis.
To ensure our network is able to give a full business to business service we have found strategic partners with other businesses to provide TaxAssist Accountants with additional services. For example - Independent Financial Services, General Insurance services, Incorporation, Administrative services, Stationery Suppliers, Factoring, Asset Financing, Debt Collection, etc.
Marketing and Practice Management Update Days
On an ongoing basis we provide modestly priced courses to keep you and your staff up-to-date with marketing and practice management developments. Our marketing courses include pricing, as well as social media training to keep you abreast of relevant business advancements.
Limited Company Training is also held frequently throughout the year and provides franchisees and staff with the knowledge to deal with small limited companies. New franchisees have to attend within six months of starting and the existing network has the opportunity to attend again as a refresher.
Meetings and Visits
It is vital that our network receives updates and that we maintain high standards of accounting practice for our clients. Regional Meetings and Training Days, Meetings with the Directors and Franchisee Development Managers and visits from the Support Centre Team all ensure this happens effectively.
Use of an Internal Support Website
A wealth of useful information is contained in our easy-to-use internal support website. The site is being constantly enhanced and is becoming one of the most powerful tools helping to ensure our franchisees stay one step ahead of the competition.
The support website forms the blueprint for managing and developing a successful TaxAssist Accountants practice. It offers advice and guidance, allows you to order stationery, and advertising templates, and book into training sessions to name but a few features.
Training Manuals and Workbooks
The detailed Manuals form the basis of your training reference materials and are explained fully during the training program. All the manuals are available online, on our support website, once the initial course has been completed.
TaxAssist Accountants Guaranteed Service Standards
Not many independent accounting practices will give guaranteed service standards to their smaller clients. Again, this is where our franchisees are different and can stay one step ahead of the often complacent competition.
